About the FRAGRANCE
From southern beaches to mist-draped coastlines, the Pacific Coast Highway links the two hubs of LA and San Francisco within the 1960s California cultural movement.
This breathtaking oceanfront corridor has long served as muse and backdrop for filmmakers as well as musicians. Nowhere is this more evident than in the `California Sound` — a creative expression, translating the spirit of golden hills, coastal breezes, and endless summer into music.
Surfers catching waves, blue skies and sheer cliffs dropping into the sea below — driving top down to a soundtrack so perfect you’d take the long way home. 19-69 by Kevin Costner has created Pacific Coast Highway Extrait de Parfum.

ENDLESS SUMMER
The Fragrance Journey is based on a personal conversation with Kevin Costner.
The scent Pacific Coast Highway by 19-69 brings you right back to the clean, youthful side of the 1960s. There was this uninhibited happiness in the air as people enjoyed nature in their own way. The coastline offered hundreds of spots to run into kids from rival schools, meet girls, to go surfing. And look, if the beach was where you were hanging out, it meant you had either cut class or school was out for summer. To a teenage boy, the girls were as cute as could be, with white sun paste on their noses and what were considered scandalous bathing suits — but really, they weren’t; they practically covered their bellybuttons.
That was the era I grew up in Ventura County, California — a time that, at first, felt wonderfully carefree. Then everything seemed to change. We watched young men leave to fight in a war many of them barely understood, while the rest of us headed north on Highway 101 toward San Francisco, drawn by the promise of the Summer of Love and a generation searching for something different. It was a confusing time at best.
