It was also the moment W Hotels entered the cultural conversation - hospitality reimagined with nightlife energy, bold design, and distinctly New York point of view.

When travelling, the hotel works as a sanctuary. It becomes an extension of my home and is a place where I withdraw and allow concepts and ideas to take form. Beauty and the ambience of my surroundings are fundamental to me. I guess they call it equilibrium, the balance for creative flow. Travelling from Europe to NYC always brings a few days of early rising. I usually grab my camera and explore the city by foot, capturing the subtle details and the unfolding energy of a new day when the sky is painted in soft, beautiful shades. It was on one of those walks that I stumbled upon the Flower Market, just a 10-minute walk from the W hotel at Union Square. The Floral Market is a world of its own: bustling and urban, with an abundance of florals that leave the air lingering with the most delicate fragrances. Art, travel and inspiration can take as many forms as there are stories to be told. And for me, these stories transform into new creations, such as perfume.
