About the FRAGRANCE
In creating Kevin’s signature scent, I wanted to capture the California sky as dusk settles — hazy, deep violet, and electric pink. I envisioned the golden sun dipping behind the Hollywood Hills, and a balmy Pacific breeze softening the warm, aromatic air. Against this backdrop, Kevin’s silhouette cuts against the glittering grid of LA, set in a glass sanctuary floating above the city. It’s mid-March, and the air holds that specific anticipation of the pre-Oscar charge. It’s a private moment in the after hours. 19-69 by Kevin Costner has created After Hours Extrait de Parfum.

FRAGRANCE NOTES
- Cypress
- Fresh green and resinous. Dry woody evergreen with a clean forest edge.
- Grape Seed
- Fresh, light, and slightly dry. Subtle fruity-green nuance with a clean, soft nutty undertone and a smooth, airy finish.
- Bourbon
- Warm, rich, and slightly sweet. Smooth vanilla-like warmth with a soft woody depth and a gentle smoky edge.
- Nutmeg
- Warm, spicy, slightly sweet. Dry aromatic heat with soft woody depth.
- Guaiacwood
- Smoky, woody, and slightly sweet. Dense, warm wood with a soft resinous depth and a smooth, lingering smokiness.
- Vetiver
- Dry, earthy, and woody. Smoky roots with a clean, grassy bitterness and a subtle mineral edge.

The Fragrance Journey is based on a personal conversation with Kevin Costner.
Until the sun goes down, there is something more alert about everything. Life becomes more about meeting the expectations of others. By midday there is so much noise and people pulling you in every direction. We do our best job when we are at ease, but really, the world doesn´t make that easy for you. And I know, when the camera is rolling, my job is to be relaxed.
The idea was to create a scent that references when the night finally rolls in and you step into something different. You look back at the day, and you are grateful for it, sure. But when that door closes, the music becomes your choice. The tie comes off and the couch somehow feels different. You get closer to the person you want to be with, and you start to get to the truth of whatever is being said. There is an edge to it, and you just can´t wait to get in. The after hours is some kind of gift. Perhaps this is the moment when you are your most authentic self. It´s an intimate night when anything is possible.
